Food Pantry Bags
Comedor provides a bag weighing at least 6.2 pounds — 5 meals, per USDA standards — of nonperishable food items to consumers on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Each consumer in attendance is given the number of bags requested, with the option of a bag with or without a pound each of dry pinto beans or rice.
Food donations for pantry bags come from the Food Depot in Santa Fe. Some items are purchased at local Walmart or grocery stores. Additional items not found locally are purchased from other online sites.
If any consumer asks for help with additional food, they are offered a food pantry bag at any time. Your donations to help us meet the nutritional needs of our consumers are welcomed. See how to donate food →
